Good Morning and well yet another day of the hump. Jump the hump? Or just ease on over… either way what ever you do or are doing to improve you hump journey may I wish you all the luck in the world. Hey I have a question for you. How many of you believe the saying if it’s on TV it has to be true. I have seen this ad for some kind of weight loss gimmick and they say in their ad, “and we couldn’t put it on TV if it wasn’t true” ok… give me a minute here while I brush up on my French! BULLSHIT! … well… perhaps it is not French but French have Bulls over there and they have to… well… let’s move on. So by making that statement thousands of people claim it to be true… because they said so. Funny thing is Trust… when a person says trust me….that opens up the red flag window in many of us. So this brings me to the Internet… ah ha… and you thought I wasn’t going to go there… I have told numerous people who I will not say are naive but, I worried for their safety due to trusting men on the Internet that say the right things to them or have that great voice that sounds too good to be an AXE murderer… I am joking but have mentioned that numerous times to watch out…what may look like a bed of roses normally turns out to be a bed of nails… I will not name names nor say I told you so… but here is a sample of just that sort of thing, only this man was not on the Internet at all he was actually out fishing when he had his first case of the Internet sting… Two hoax ads on Craigslist cost a Jacksonville man thousands of dollars in property Saturday and could land the pranksters in jail on theft and burglary charges. The classified ads popped up Saturday afternoon on the Web site saying the owner of a home in the 7900 block of Sterling Creek Road was forced to leave the area suddenly and that his belongings, including a horse, were free for the taking, said Jackson County sheriff's Detective Sgt. Colin Fagan. The only problem is that Robert Salisbury has no plans of leaving his home any time soon. Salisbury, who works as an independent contractor, was at Emigrant Lake when he received a call from a woman had stopped by his house to claim his horse. On his way home he stopped a truck loaded down with his work ladders, lawn mower and weed eater. "I informed them I was the owner, but they refused to give the stuff back," Salisbury said. "They showed me the Craigslist printout and told me they had the right to do what they did." The driver then sped away after rebuking Salisbury. On his way home he spotted other cars filled with his belongings. Upon pulling into his driveway he was greeted by close to 30 people rummaging through his barn and front porch. "They were like a pack of vultures," he said. Salisbury blocked his driveway and ordered everyone to leave his property. The trespassers, armed with printouts of the ad, tried to brush him off. "They honestly thought that because it appeared on the Internet it was true," Salisbury said. "It boggles the mind." Wow, this is real people and if you do not think this will not have numerous more copy cat scenarios in the coming days, weeks or months… you may not want to purchase that swamp land just yet…See since the internet is now the catalos for publicity and now more then ever over TV and Radio you can bet your stars those who choose to do the damage for that claim to fame, bragging rights or just a way to get rich fast…are going to use it. Oh well…I have other numerous stories running thru my head this morn’ but will save those for a rainy day… My best to you yours and theirs and may you hump day be 100% better then the man who was blindsided by the Craigs List ad… A huge big ole Michigan Hug and a fabulous pat, (toe curling one) …. Hmmm just thinking if a Pat made ones toes curl…perhaps I better re-look at pats in general… maybe backrubs would be better… but then again that ole country song about a wink leads to a touch and a touch leads to a back rub and a back…Holey smokes… Oh and Idol was kinda good last night, Michael Johns and John Cook were awesome, Carly was awesome, who will go home… no idea… Chimpanzee was good too, easier then saying Chakeezee My gosh this was the longest sign off I ever have had. Mart..
