A few weeks ago, I had to get a thrombosus lanced because it was painful and the ER doc released a lot of the blood clot and the next day, the follow up doc did as well but she cuz me before the numbing medication went into effect. My left knee has gradually been swelling and now, it is to the point where it hurts to bend it, even slightly. I called my doctor earlier and she said for me to go to the ER. Should I listen to her and sit in the ER for 3 hours or should I stay home and ice it?
