Behind My Eyes

Behind these green eyes
are the windows to my soul
the door to my heart
is always kept closed
No one will enter
without my okay
but because of you
those will be long days
You hurt me so deep
cut me right to the bone
that all I felt was
so stupid and alone
I thought you were different
so special and unique
but you are just like so many others
a heart breaking creep
