Dream of awakening
In the awakening of a dream
Amidst a silent scream
As I reach for reality
Living in an existence
That I did not exist in
But within a clinched fist
Was a life I had missed
You could not see
The need to just be-
Longing to set free
My aura of sanity
Listen to my cries
As my soul sighs
And my emotion dies
Behind closed eyes
