I've a potential opportunity to purchase a home in very good condition for a very good price. Problem is not my income. Problem is lack of savings. Right now I'm living with my 3 children out of a spare bedroom at my parents due to divorce. 401k offers two options which may afford me the earnest money to seal a deal. 1 being a hardship loan. 2 being purchase of principle residence. Who's been in these shoes?
