I want to talk about the song that is on my page. It's by Celine Dion. She is my favorite female singer. I have lots of singers that I like, but Celine and this song has a special meaning to me.
This song has so many painful and happy memories for me. I know that sounds crazy, but I'm going to try and explain. I have had depression for years, and when I would get really down, I could call my sisters, and they could talk me through the dark times. Thats 1 reason this song is so special. If you listen to all the words, you will see where this song has helped me so much.
I also dedicate this song to my mother. She was the light in my darkest hours. She was my inspiration, and she loved me, no matter what. She stood by me, and made me who I am. I miss her so much. I dont think she ever really knew, just how special and loved, that she was. I will never stop missing her, but I do know, that someday, I will see her again.
The 3rd reason this song is special for me, is because, I had this played at my wedding. I wanted my husband to know how special he was to me. He has seen me at my worst, and he still stands by me. He was there for me when I lost my mother, he comforted me through my nightmares after my mom died. He was the rope that kept pulling me back, when the grief overwhelmed me. I owe him. This song tells him that I love him, and I appreciate him for being there for me. For Better and worse.
