I have to have my daughter in town for a 9:30 appt tomorrow 30 miles from home and then another one, another 20 miles further. My father cant drive to his eye appt, due to eye surgery, and my mother is just being lazy and refusing to drive. She expects me to rush back to our town and pick them up....There is no possibility they will come in early with me to save gas. She says she cant be ready that early, and I know I will have a difficult time getting home....both of my daughters appts are very important, and cannot be changed.
My question is do I be a good daughter and try to rush back, or remain stubborn and say there is no good reason mother cant drive?...Advice is also appreciated.
