Banana Bread
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup pecans, chopped
3 bananas, smashed
6 tablespoons buttermilk
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Mix in flour and salt. In a seperate bowl, combine baking soda and buttermilk. Then slowly add to mixture, stirring between additions. Add bananas, nuts and vanilla. Grease and flour 2 coffee cans or loaf pans. Fill pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Let cool.
