Bad to the bone!

Bad to the bone! Padma Lakshmi wears white gown with skeleton design to star-studded 2014 Whitney Gala Padma Lakshmi is a fan of pushing the boundaries when it comes to her red carpet style. On Wednesday at the annual Whitney Gala in New York City, presented by Louis Vuitton, the Top Chef host opted for a sleeveless white gown that was adorned with skeletal designs down the front of her body. The 44-year-old TV personality chose an intricate frock with bone-like motif that resembled a human spine for an overall sophisticated and modern look. Padma styled her long raven tresses poker straight and with a deep side part. She oozed sex appeal in seductive makeup wearing dark eyeliner, metallic eyeshadow and nude lipstick. The mother-of-one kept her accessories to a minimum and was styled with a silver wrist cuff and metallic earrings.

As the holiday season comes closer, Padma revealed her Thanksgiving plans to People. This year, the foodie will be celebrating all things festive without her daughter Krishna, aged four. 'She's going to be with her dad this year,' she said. 'We alternate the holidays so last year was my turn and that's great. I really don't want to cook without her.' Padma added: 'It's a little sad for me. Instead of being sad, I'm going to go to Paris and be very happy!' The ex-girlfriend of actor Richard Gere attended the American Art Museum's gala alone but was joined by a slew of A-listers inside the venue. Supermodel Hilary Rhoda sparkled in a strapless metallic sequinned that she fashioned with dangling diamond earrings and bright red lip. Elvis Presley's granddaughter Riley Keough dressed a bit more laid-back in a long sleeve mini dress with sheer panels on the arms. The 2014 Whitney Gala was presented by Louis Vuitton at The Breuer Building which served as the third home for the NYC museum. Following the glitzy reception, the popular art gallery will be once again moving to another location, this time near Downtown.
