Kind of a serious one here.. My 21 year old daughter is going in for surgery next week. She has an ovary that has been giving her problems since she was 14. I had ovarian cancer 2 years ago and the surgeon really wants to remove the ovary since this can be a family trait. I'm pushing for her to go ahead and let them take the ovary. She has one child but wants to have another one in 4 or 5 years when she's done with college and taking the ovary may (or may not) decrees her chances of having another child. I'm worried about her future health. So do I shut up and not try to convince her that cancer is a very real possibility for her or drive her crazy until she agrees to let them take the putrid ovary out of her? |
