Well, the title says it all. I spent most of last week puterless and offline while visiting a friend in the Seattle area...
All I can say is I really like that area, great to visit for sure. If I had the freedom to move, it would be near the top of my list, along with New Orleans, but thats a blog for some other time
As for Seattle, I did quite a bit of the touristy stuff, but still had fun. I was able to catch a Seahawks game @ Qwest, which was fantastic. The fact they won the game was even better! It was great to be part of the loudest crowd in the NFL for a game.
I was also about 5 miles from an actively erupting Volcano - Mount St. Helens. From the viewpoint we had, we could actually see the smoke (from the heat of the lava/magma inside the volcano. It was incredible to be that close.
Of course, I did a lot of the touristy stuff as well (Harbor cruises, Space needle, etc), but won't bore ya with details here.. those will wait till I post the pictures I have.. LOL.
But I'm back now.. so maybe I'll get caught up here eventually (yeah, right.. lol)
And remember.. if you missed me.. you need to practice your aim so you don't miss again.. LOL
