So very happy was I from the second I saw your smile.

Then you talked to me and the distance went to feet from miles.

You are there and I am here,

but your voice on the phone keeps us near.

Feeling like a school kid again with butterfiles,

As I have you on the phone with me my, how the time flys.

You have all the right answers and say the right things,

and we both agree we have what we want now to see what time brings.

In just one brief moment of time,

I thought i found my special one I was gonna make you mine.

But fate always seems to see things different than me,

Now I am wondering if you and me as in "us" will ever be.

I kinda feel a small hole in my heart,

I feel kinda of taken back really a bit torn apart.

I never give in quite so easily,

but making you happy was all i could see.

Just some mean words from you were said to me,

and now I feel worse than hurt I feel so empty.

As I am sitting here tonight writing my feelings on here,

You need to feel these words as i am speaking them for you to hear.

Simply as I put this pen to this paper,

I wanted to put your heart in my hands to make it safer.

Safer for you to open up to the world,

only if you would tell everyone you want me as your girl.

Yet it seems you hide behind the unknowing,

not will to be public just to me your feelings you are showing.

I am lost without anymore words to say,

for I wept a ton of tears for us, as i read your words today.
