LOL...
I pulled these off of
Monster.com's Networking Boards....:
6. I work in a rather large building and so everyone is given a pager as well as a password to the pager system in order to keep the lines of communication open during our workday. When you send a page through the company system, your name is automatically included with your message however, my partner and I found a way around that so we concocted a little prank to pull on our fellow workers.
I would get on the computer and send a page to our victim of choice that would read as follows. "We are currently making changes to the paging system that will require you to make a password change. Initially, a password will be assigned to you which you can later change to one of your own choice. Please call XXXXX to obtain your password. FROM: IT Systems
Of course, my partner was manning the phone to which we instructed people to call. After asking the caller some initial questions, we would assign a new password to them using words like : colonostomy38476 or serendipitious42745 or extraterrestrial39071. The comments from the callers was a hoot. We would tell them not to worry because they could change them to whatever they wanted......after 90 days! We gave some of the guys we knew well passwords like "Puddinghead" and "Stinkyboy". Anyhow, once we reveled ourselves, everyone had a good laugh and it still comes up now and again.
