Jusame's blog: "Poetry by Shadow Wolf"

In all of wonder, in question I pray,
 could it be really true what they say?
That humans have scorched and raped the land
 and now are left to the doom at hand.
Is it so true that in night we slumber,
 in total ignorance of our greatest blunder.
To wake in morning for a brand new day,
 but with nothing wise to hear or to say.
Tell me what is it that makes us so blind,
 that we can wage war on our very own kind.
We look then for all ways to justify,
 such as he is different than is you and I.
Is it just fear driving us to our ways,
 or merely child games and power plays.
Our leaders tell us that all things are grand,
 and we believe them but yet we can't stand.
Has our sweet mother earth now forgotten us,
 has she now put all of us on the bus?
Headed so swiftly straight towards a wall,
 so that she can watch us scream as we fall?
Or is it yet in fact time of peace,
 that some of us see but yet can not reach?
Dimensions that shift and worlds that renew,
 is the prophecy what is now coming true.
The wicked will slay until they are slain,
 and leave only the meek to then stake their claim.
The world then shifts into times yet unknown,
 and thus let the meek ones become then full grown.
Then mankind pushes past all of the doubt,
 with old violent greed being now down and out.
The gods have returned once again from the stars,
 to set all things right in this world of ours.
And for the nursery that we call planet Earth,
 for humans of which we have given birth.
To new conscious thought we before never knew,
 which all souls now can touch us in full and through.
And we then ascend into a greater life,
 and leave behind us all the war and the strife.
That doomed the world that we have left behind,
 the very concept still does strain the mind.
Is this a sign of what we're soon to see,
 or in our hearts do we want it to be?
Can we handle life with harmony and peace,
 or is it just another tall pipe dream lease?
But yet in our hearts the answers do glow,
 and once you can reach it, you will truly know.
