Duke Boomington's blog: "the good, the bad, the ugly"

GONE are the days of relying on other people to get their own work done, just so I can do my own in a timely manner. GONE are the days of cranky customers who's one goal in life is to take their frustrations out on the one person they dont give a fuck about and wont see again. GONE are the days of filling in for loser kids who cough and say they are sick yet continue to smoke the very next day. GONE are the days of company ownership being a hundred miles away and making decisions directly impacting the store without any real knowledge of the day to day activities of the store. Thats right, today I start a new job. I will be loading TONS of beer onto pallets so those pallets can then be loaded onto delivery trucks. I go in in a little while although my official start time hasnt been set yet. We work until all the orders are filled, that'll be easy enough. Wish me luck my fu friends. If anything exciting happens I'll be sure too post it. :P
