It only gets Better~!!!!!!...NOT!...so here i sit...in the library area of Lakeland regional medical center...ive been here now for two days, im bored to death , i have no answers and im scared out of my wits...Long story short...oh wait...there is no way to make this short...WELL FUCK ME RUNINING ....here goes...well as you know im a female so i tend to get a menstrual cycle...well i got it over two weeks ago...and it decided it wanted to stay instead of going on its merry little fucking way...the last two days before i made a trip to the er concerning it...it was so heavy i was border line hemorraghing ...so they prescribe a "hormone"...actually it was birth control...thats kinda comical considering im unable to have children...and never have been able to...i was kinda giggling...So they send me home i take my pills and wake monday morning with a very large cramp in my calf...so i ignore it LMAO...wait...u must understand...with diabetes muscle cramps are common...so tuesday comes and still i have the pain in my calf...and plus another symptom...blurry vision...hmmm...im probably tired...i go to bed LMAO...the next day i wake up to a purple middle toe with no feeling...yea...i think i have an issue...so i head myself to the er..with all meds...turns out...after a bevy of tests...i may have a blood clot or worse...i have what they are calling a tightening of the artery in my left leg...so here i sit on heparin...(for those that do not know ..its a very strong blood thinner that i must be monitored on) So basically kiddos...i may lose my toe, i have to get an angiogram (yea i know...its completely spelled wrong...blame the meds) and a cat scan of my arteries and aorta...god i hope its just a blood clot...So yesterday i sat up here with no food or water for 16 hours waiting for the vascular surgeon..to no avail he never showed...so they finally fed me...today...here i sit again...14 hours no food or water...and he has still not had the decency to show up.....so im sitting here with very good insurance...thinking about pulling fucking rank and telling them to discharge me immediately...so i can go to tampa to receive the care i need. If this surgeon feels it isnt neccessary to make his rounds then im sure i can find one that feels differently. The reason they are keeping me off food and water is because i may need emergency surgery to correct whatever the problem...so here is my thought on this...ok its been 48 hours...i think the word emergency here no longer is valid. so fucking feed me and tell that bastard to fuckin get his priorities correct , he cannot keep me from food and water for the word "emergency" if he is not going to treat it as that. Common sense dictates here and obviously he has none. The orders on my chart state NPO after twelve am...ok NPO...that means no intake of anything after twelve...that is what you do before any kind of surgery...obviously i dont need the surgery so change the motherfuckin chart so i can eat, or change your fuckin priority and come see me and decide and do my tests that i have needed now for two days. Ok im done venting.
