On a clear night I looked to the stars
Was greeted with a bright ray of light
Looking into that light I saw a star
That had to be your star
It sparkled much like I see in your eyes
The warmth felt like it came directly from your heart
Within that light I heard the beat of your heart
A wonderful sonnet came from it
I heard whispers from your soft voice
Within that light I could see a true and pure beauty
Much like I see in you each time I see you
A felt serenity and a calm about me
I truly felt so blessed as I feel
When I am in your presence.
