Is there something I missed? I do believe there has been dishonest,
detrimental policies that have been employed over the past 2 years that EVERYONE
seems to be completely overlooking.

This president and his party had a "super majority". During that time they
managed to derail our court system. (taking over Chrysler, Gm) There were many
policies that I despised that our former president implimented, but at least he
allowed the court system to handle the bankrupsy of companies that were as big
as Chrysler and GM. The lable of " too big to fail" did not get applied to
Enron, Worldcom, or Tyco toys. All leaders in their respective industries.

We have seen bailouts to the Automakers, Banks, Mortgage Companies,
Creditcard Companies. Were all of these "too big to fail"? If this is the case,
then these companies must, by President Oboma's definition, be considered
monopolies. Or is simply a tactic used by certain political entities? (Never
waste a crisis.)

I have seen more doomsday crisies since 2008, than I have seen in my entire
lifetime. I think there is a simplistic pattern that has developed.

The one topic that was completely avoided was the debt and debt ceiling
debate. When you have a super majority there has to be a certain amount of
accountability. Some how the Democratic party decided they could force the
American public to accept a bill that was bigger than any 3 bills created in
U.S. history combined. Yet they are not at all accountable for its size. (Do you
see a problem here?)

The healthcare bill gutted 500 billion from medicaid and medicare. (this was
a bill crafted by democrats) It also removed loans for higher education from the
public sector, to being gauranteed by the federal government. (Yes, I don't
understand how education falls under healthcare either. If you read the bill its
in there.)

So now we have people in Congress who have seen the same things I have
revealed, but at a much more insightful level. They have access to information
that is not readily avalable to the general public. (I seem to remember a
promise of transparancy somewhere in the campaign speeches of 2008.) These
individuals have made a very plain effort to stop our current path. Even if you
do not agree with their methods, you must admit there is a pattern here. The
spending has to stop.

I cannot side with President Oboma. Yes, he walked into a bad situation.
Unfotunately his polocies have created a much worse situation. We cannot spend
our way out of this. He has only offered one plan throughout this debt crisis.
He offered a budget that was rejected by his own party in his safe haven. (the
Senate) Rejected 97 to 0. (

If you have overextended your finances and go to a financial adviser for an
evaluation of your situation. When it is laid out how you accelerated to the
point of default, eventually you have to make concessions. If you see extreme
expendetures, and are only willing to reduce them to a point where all you do is
pay the interest without applying anything to principal of your debt, you will
continue to operate at a deficit.

Is this the future that innocent children who recieved no benefit from this
spending are going to be forced to assume?

These decissions are not going to be easy. Although deciding to operate at a
deficit has been very easy. We as a country have done this 98% of the time since
1973. There have only been 2 surpluses since that time. Yet these fools in
congeress point that out with pride. (Is this how you manage your personal
finances? Is this how you will teach your children to maintain theirs?)

Time to stop the waste and smoke and mirrors. Time to act like adults. Time
to forget the polotics. I do not care what party affiliation you have, do what
my children need done.
