When I decided to create this page on my site I did it for a few simple reasons.

First, I was really tired of the stereotyping of those who have tattoos. We don't all swear, drink, do drugs, fight, or committ crimes. Nor are we white trash, trailer park trash, rednecks,or welfare employed. We come from all different walks of life. We breath air, eat food, raise families, and work jobs. We are members of the PTA, Coaches for local youth sports, Singers in the church chior, and just about anything else you can imagine. So do me a favor and get off your fucking "Better Than The Rest" pedestal. Try getting to know us before you judge us.

Second, I believe there is a bond between those of us that are inked. It's not like getting your ears pierced. We can't one day just take it off and it goes away. Our bond to our ink is forever. Don't ever say someone who is tattooed can't handle committment... lol. So this is a place for us to make friends and build bonds.

Lastly, It's not that we are egotistical... we aren't. Our tattoos though to us have meaning and are art. So I thought what a great way for us to share pictuers of our art and the stories behind why we chose to get what we did. So I hope you'll take a minute or two and share your Art with us and the story behind it. We all have something in common that most others will never know or understand.
