First of all my name is Rob to most people that know me including my brothers,sisters, mom, dad, co-workers well yall get the picture while I am Alex to others. Don't worry its not a scam, both of them are my name. First and Middle that is.. Anyway, I am the oldest of 4 (3 of us are grown with our own families, geez Mom you're old, LOL!!) All of our children range from 11 yrs old to a newborn(congrats lil bro and lil sis!!) Let's see, I am a proud father of 2 girls, ages 9(soon to be 10) and 6(soon to be 7, YAAAAY!!!) shown in the picture and in the album. And the newest addition a little boy who looks just like me!!I am an avid reader who likes the gamut of books. I can read War and Peace or read Michael Moore. I like all kinds of music. I can go from Megadeth and Fall Out Boy to Ne-Yo and Jill Scott in a matter of seconds. I am currently enrolled at the Capella University working on my Bachelor degree in Public Safety- Criminal Justice Administration. I previously attended Cheyney University of PA(CUUUUUUUUUUU mutha fuckas!! HBCU's STAND UP!!!) where I was a Biology major. Go figure right(LOL!!)I also love to write and do and will post blogs from time to time. My blogs will range from everyday thoughts to things that have been on my mind and weighing me down. A wise person once told me to write it down or talk about it because there is no use holding it in and allowing it to fester.So I guess from what you've read, I seem like a nerd right? That's ok, that's a turn on to some but not to others. I was once called a pompous ass because of the way I write. They said I write this way to make myself seem intelligent(LOL, imagine that!!) As for love, we are on hiatus right now... When you give someone your all and they fuck you royally you tend not to be so forgiving. Maybe its the kind of women I attract.It doesn't matter whether they are Green, Orange, Polka Dots, I always find the craziest of the bunch who wouldn't know what love was if it sucker punched the hell out of them or equates love with money. I love a smart woman. Aww man!! **drooling** Hell, I meet all types of women who think they are smart on the surface but its takes a little more. That could be why the women I aim for are considered out of my league(does the word Bachelor, MBA or PhD mean anything to you?) But its ok, it only gives me the motivation to continue with school. Although I am gainfully employed in Community Corrections, I don't see me taking care of no one but my children and the occasional neice(especially Kay-Kay, Amira or Brooklynn) or nephew(sup Lil!!) Sorry to sound selfish but I found out trying to carry people, the only thing you get is sore knees and a aching back.Anyway, enough about me what can I learn about you today? Tell a man / woman to hit the curb (ifhe / sheisn't about the right thing)Raise your children without both parents being in the home.Haters can't stand to see you happy; Haters will never want tosee yousucceed; Haters never want you to get the victory, most of ourhatersare people who are supposed to be on our side? How do you handleyourundercover haters? You can handle these haters by:1. Knowingwho youare & who your true friends are *(VERY IMPORTANT!!) 2. Having apurposeto your life? Purpose does not mean having a job. You can havea joband still be unfulfilled. A purpose is having a clear sense ofwhat Godhas called you to be. Your purpose is not defined by what othersthinkabout you. 3. By remembering what you have is by divineprerogative andnot human manipulation. Fulfill your dreams! You only have onelife tolive...when it's your time to leave this earth, you 'want'to beable to say,'I've lived my life and fulfilled 'my'dreams,... NowI'm ready to go HOME!When God gives you favor, you can tell your haters,'Don't look at me...Look at Who is in charge of me...'
