so the topic of the day was about the pic thing with the primary photos which looks like a relatively minor thing but man o man did some people have a field day
It went from disagreeing with it , to big brother is smothering us, to finding every little excuse in the world why we shouldnt be changing it...... so once again I made my opinion be heard about personal responibility and I was personally attacked, which happens regularly but i dont care...... annnnnnnnnnnnyway
The bottom line about the pictures thing is this, no matter what the enforcement of it is, the rules are the rules, just like any other place in life if you dont like the rules in myspace you come here, you dont like the rules here you go elsewhere to where there are no rules ( I'm not endorsing leaving cherrytap , I love this place) so here i go , im going to rebutt every point I've seen made tonight , mostly because im bored enough to do so lol
1. its not fair some people's pics arent being removed................ rebutal: life is not fair and there are over 400,000 ppl on this site, its physically impossible to catch everyone in the first week much less the first night
2. people shouldnt be logging on at work .......
rebutal: neither should children be getting onto this site but that doesnt stop them so we all should take a little care as to what our children potentially can see, there is nothing to stop a kid from ligging in cuz the site looks cool on the home page all he has to do is lie about his age and no one can check it to verify it.
3. who is he to judge whats appropriate and whats not?
rebutal: babyjesus is the owner of this site which basicly makes him god here.....what he says, goes and if he wants to ban some and not other its his site and his perrogative to do with it as he pleases..... and on a side note of that, hes been amazingly tolerant considering different pressures that have been put on him as a site owner so cut him some slack.
4. its a vicious circle! it starts here but where does it end? will our suggestive names be banned? will our comments be restricted? where does it end?
rebutal: it ends right here for now, until someone pushes it and posts full nudes in comments and gets totally obviously sick, and we will cross that bridge when we come to it.
now that im done rebutting points i will clear a misconception
THE MISCONCEPTION - our pics are being banned,
that is simply not true, our pics that are sexually suggestive in nature or nude are being moved to the adult folder and in place for our primary photo is a face pic or a funny cartoon or something of that nature
So to conclude this blog I say freedom doesnt come without personal responsibility , so you can continue to shake ya ass.......... but watch ya self
