What is CherryTAP mail?
CherryTAP mail (cMail) allows members to send and receive email from their cherryTAP account to anyone in the world just like any web based email provider.

What's my email address?
Your email address is displayed at the top of your inbox.
Your initial email address is ct276261@cherrytap.com. You can change to a custom email address by clicking "My Profile" on your home page: the email customization is on the "Account Settings" tab. Once you have set your custom email address, you cannot change it again. Mail sent to your default address (ct276261@cherrytap.com) will still be delivered to you.

No, but you can forward individual messages to your signup email (or to any other email address).
How will I know if I received mail?
CherryTAP mail (cMail) automatically refreshes your inbox when new mail is sent to you. You will also want to check the "Bulk" folder on the white navigation wheel to unblock any senders you want to hear from.
What is the Bulk folder for?
The bulk folder is where email from non-verified senders are stored. If you think you're missing mail from someone you should be hearing from, periodically check your Bulk folder and unblock those senders.
How do I send an email?
To send an email, simply click on the "compose an email" icon on the upper left hand side of the page. Enter any valid email address and compose your email like you would on any email system and then click either "Send Mail" button.
How do I send an email to more than one person?
You can enter multiple email addresses in the To: line. Just separate the addresses with a comma.
How do I enter my contacts?
Click on the "Contacts" link on the white navigation wheel. Next, click on the "New Contact" link in the middle of the page and then enter in your new contact's information by following the prompts.
How do I add a photo to a contact?
You can add a photo when you add someone to your contact list under the "New Contact" link. If the contact is an existing contact, click on the person's email which will highlight them. Next, click on the "Edit Contact" link. From there, follow the prompts to upload a photo.
How do I add someone to my favorites?
You can add someome to your favorites by mousing over the person's photo and clicking on the "Add to Favorites" link in the tool tips window. You can also add someone to your favorites by clicking on the "contacts" link on the white navigation circle. Click on the person's name you want to add and then click on the "Add to Favorites" link.
How do I remove someone from my favorites?
Scroll over the person you want to remove's name in the Favorites Box on the right side of your browser, click on the "Remove from Favorites" link in the tool tips window.
How do I delete a message?
Click on your "Inbox" in the white navigation wheel. Highlight the email you want to delete and then click on the "Delete" link.
How do I add a contact to my favorites?
Click on the "Contacts" link on the white navigation wheel. Click on the contact you want to add to your favorites, which will highlight their name. Next, click on the "Add to Favorites" link.
How do I attach a file to my message?
Click on the "Compose" link and compose your message. next, click on the "Attach a file" button and select the file you want to attach. Once you are finished composing your message, click on either of the "Send Mail" buttons.
I tried to attach a file, but it didn't work!
cMail does not allow attachments larger than one megabyte.
I uploaded a contact photo, but it didn't work!
Contact photos may not be larger than one megabyte--please use a smaller image.
How come my uploaded contact photo doesn't show for a sender?
Most likely because that user has a primary photo on CherryTAP. CherryTAP users' primary photos override the local contact photo. Your contact photo uplaods are best used to represent non-CherryTAP users (beats Who Dat, doesn't it?)
How come these people show up in my contacts when I didn't add them?
cMail is set up to automatically add to your contacts everyone you send to or receive mail from.
How do I block a sender?
Click on your "Inbox" in the white navigation wheel. Highlight the person by clicking on their email address, and then click the "Block Sender" link.
How do I unblock a sender?
Click on the "Bulk" link in the white navigation wheel. Highlight the person you want to unblock by clicking on their email address. Click on the "Unblock Sender" link.
Someone sent me a mail, but I didn't get it!
Check that the sender isn't in your Bulk folder: Click on the "Bulk" link in the white navigation wheel. Then click on the "Unblock Sender" link. The sender's mail will be moved to your Inbox, and the sender will be added to your contacts.
Part of a message sent to me was removed.
cMail's spam filter removes email or material in emails that appear to be spam.
