They lay you down
and say kind words
but while you lived
you were treated like dirt.
Death is the only time
that people realize
how much they loved you
now they must day goodbye.
They should have showed it
before you died
that way at least you knew
and could have smiled.
But noe they're crying
and they're so sad
that they couldn't say it
in the time they had.
