mum expired. [EVERYONE]

Ok I lost my father on June 8, 2007 to non small cell carcinoma. He wanted to be cremated, so we fulfilled his wishes. He also wanted to be scattered through the Smoky Mnts, so we fulfilled that wish as well.
So with father's approaching, I was wondering should I make the trip to the Smoky Mtns, or just hold a small memorial in his memory closer to home? Which do y'all think is better?
