Adding ProjectPlaylist to Your Profile
Tired of the Slightly Stoopid tracks? Try Making your own playlist!
There's a few options, most commonly imeem.com or projectplaylist.com. I prefer ProjectPlaylist, so this blog is to show you how to use it.
First, create an account with ProjectPlaylist
here.
You can start building your playlist by clicking on the "Search" link. CAUTION: Be sure the track you are about to add actually works (click the "PLAY" icon to test the song.) Repeat this process until you've made a playlist to your liking. By the way, you can build more than one list!
Having finished building a playlist, click on "My Account". This takes you to your homepage.
You should see your playlist on the left. Under it, you will find a link titled "Add Playlist to Myspace or Facebook", click there. It brings you to a list of options (a:Myspace, b:Facebook, c:Gaia, d:Friendster, e:Get code for other....) You want option E.
This will bring you to a page asking which playlist you want the code for.
Select your playlist, and you are now at the code generator. I recommend having the autostart, but the shuffle and background options are up to you.
Select your options and click on "Get Code".
The next page will be the code for your playlist. Right click on the code, Select All, right click again, Copy.
Now open your Fubar homepage, and look for the "MyTrackz" link. I use the POWER homepage style so it sits in a box with My Stash, MuMMs, etc., below my default options. Follow the links to the page where the code is (
here.) Delete any pre-existing code, and right click, Paste. Make a title for it, and click Submit.
Et Voila! You're done. You can double check your work by finding and clicking on "View my profile".
WARNING! Do not make more than one list set to autoplay in your tracks, as this causes all of them to be loaded and play at the same time. (psychotic crossover jumble music... ohhhhh my head...)
