Christmas

A True Christmas

We all see Santa Claus (a.k.a. Saint Nicholas) as the one who can live forever.  Well Santa

Claus was actually a person who lived a long time ago.  He used to make small toys when he was a

child and leave them in people’s homes every year for Christmas.  He understood the true meaning

of Christmas; a day when Jesus was given to the world, to later become the world’s redemption.

As time passed a new family moved into his village.  They had a young girl, whom he wanted to

make smile with one of his gifts.  The new family had locks on their doors, and there was no way

to get in to leave a gift; he pondered how to bring happiness to this family at Christmas.  He

looked on the roof and saw the chimneys, and decided to use the chimney as a way into the home.

Needles too say, he succeeded in leaving a gift in her home, and brought great happiness in the

home.  The young man’s name was Nicholas.  After his death the news of what he had did in his

life spread across the world, and the Catholic Church made him a Saint.  From the time he was

made a Saint; what he did was immortalized, and now people see him as living forever; they see

him as God; but he never saw himself as God, but rather a servant of God showing in his actions,

who God is.

God sent his soon Jesus in the form of a baby into the world to suffer all that man had to

suffer, and then die on a cruel cross for the sins of the world, so that the world would have a

way to not end up under final judgment with the devil.

Christmas is a celebration of Jesus birth; when God sent him here to be born, He brought with

him a way that all men could now join back into fellowship with the God of all creation, the

very same God whom Adam walked with in the garden before sin came and separated man from God.

All God ever asked for man to do is to listen and obey.  God knows that we will think about it

first, and then decide whether to obey or do our own thing. God also knows every outcome of

every decision we make; there are always multiple outcomes for each decision. Which outcome we

see depends on whether we listen to God wholly, in part, or not at all?  We have free will to do

our own thing or take God's guidance and live a life with purpose!

This Christmas remember that it is about Christ birth, the one who came to save the world from

sin.  If any of you do not know Christ, then please ask God to forgive you of your sins, and

send His son Jesus into your life; and let Christ become your savior.  Do not let Christ

Birthday be of no account, but rather a time that you give your life to Him, that you too can be

Blessed of God.

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!
