Good Morning… I just finished reading an article that it’s header read, “ WHY DO THEY HATE US?” The article was written by Reza Aslan and much to Aslan’s header stating a question, the question and a question that floats around most Americans heads…I found no answer what so ever except commentary of certain books as why we should read it. The word they, them and we and us come up several times but the lead question remains unanswered! Why do they hate us? Was the author actually promoting these books or trying to get attention to the Middle East and for what reasons? Like the Middle East needs more attention. The Middle East get enough attention as well as a few Hollywood Spoiled Brats do…But has anything been settled? Ah…No! Are we further along to helping, I say helping because as long as I support the troops I have to support the troops even though I wish each and everyone was back home safe and guarding our boarders, making our streets safer and most of all back with their loved ones and them with theirs. Why are we there? Why do they hate us? Why is Gas so high when the crude oil price is similar to where it was 10 years ago? Hmmm Many good questions none of which I can answer. But, as long as we have American Military personal overseas and fighting for what we have been told is freedom (and I might add has been crammed down our throats dressed in the red white and blue) I ask myself this. Had we done nothing after 911 where would we be? I don’t know! Had we sanctioned that country, countries, those fractions of terrorist type hordes would we be better off or thought of as cowards? Peace through strength has been touted time after time, president after president. To no avail. We are a people, all people I must say not black, not white, not tan , yellow, red or catholic, protestant, Islamic, Asian or Indian we are people…do we not learn form our mistakes? Others Mistakes? Why do they hate us? Who are they? Hell we are they! We are them, those all of the above…think about it…we they all of us…just trying to survive, move forward and adapt. Isn’t that what life is about? Surviving, learning from our mistakes to grow better from and leave a legacy…I shutter to think of our forefathers rolling around in their graves right now and saying to themselves…this is what I left in your hands to take care of…I am not against war. I am not against peace. I am against tyrants who turn believers of mistruth into gods word… You make the call, I think for as much we believe what is right is right and wrong is wrong…always has their side of the story, no matter who is they, them or their…
