This poem was written for my Hero!!!!
My Daddy.... John Carter.
The memories that we share,
I hold with great care.
We had so much time to share.
Now that time is scarce.
Daddy, Please let me share...
I can recall a time when I was about 3 feet tall.
I thought, I could be tall, But wasn't at all.
You tapped my head, and that was all.
We thought no harm at all.
That's when I seen it fall.
You took me in your arms, So careful not to fall.
You held me tight, You said, "It's alright",
"No need to be a fright".
"Daddy will hold you tight".
You kissed my head and said "Alright".
The doctor said "We have to stitch her head".
You put me on the bed.
You walked away without a smile.
You came around, and turned a frown upside down.
When the monkey came around.
You sat down, As my arms came around.
You stuck around, to be sure I didn't frown.
You tried to goof around.
When they came to my bed,
To stitch my head.
Right before, You kissed my sore.
You, I adored, That's why I Love You More!!!!!!!!
Your Baby Girl!!!
