I was having a bad night until a friend or two stepped in to help me. Thanks...this is for you.
Good Friends
I have had my bad days
And my fair share of trouble has come
But at these troubled times
I'm glad for good friends
Things changed so quickly
From loved one minute to hated the next
From wanting me to wishing I'd die
But good friends never change
Somebody I trusted with my heart
Turned on me and beat it to a pulp
But just when I thought I could take no more
You've made me smile at a time I needed most
It took 2 words to break my heart
And it may take 3 years to totally heal it
But with just 5 minutes of caring
A good friend got me closer to fully healed
It's times like these when I turn to you
And it's times like this you come through
So for good friends, old and new
For them, I say, "Thank You."
