Been a really strange, but good day. Ever have one of those???? ;)
It began with checking emails and making calls this morning, which led to (because of decreased income over the summer) some resource possibilities.....which led to a job lead where she thought they were hiring. When I called the place they were ecstatic that I called and can't wait to see my resume!
More calls today led to some resources for some medical assistance resources where I didn't think would exist! They need a letter from my employer stating that they don't offer me any benefits; I am so hoping that this doesn't cause a stink at work, just needing to get some medical assistance.
Other resources I had to wait for call backs and fell asleep in the course of waiting on them. LOL.... Even called one back to make sure that I hadn't missed their call somehow. lol...
Anyways...
a bit later, my daughter calls. Can I come and watch the grandbaby? Sure! (They even offered to buy me dinner while they were out and about).
While babysitting the Granddaughter, I was practicing vowels with her....
"Ahhhh" (and she repeats Ahhhh...)
"Ehhhh" (and she repeats Ehhhh...)
"Ohhhh" (and she peels down her lip, eyes open wide, and screams bloody hell! Wtf!! lol...) I quickly console her and apologize to her for whatever bad word I might have said to her in her baby language!! LOL......
I tell my daughter and her hubby when they return from their brief night on the town, they both chuckle. My daughter turns to me and says, "Oh, I think I will try that on her and see if she does that to me!!" (And, I am thinking to myself, chuckling, that if she intentionally tortures that poor baby, she is going to (in the end) reap the benefits of hellacious paybacks! Do I dare warn her? Not!! lol..... Can't wait until the grandbaby calls her up with a long list of things that she did wrong in her life!! lol.....)
A bit later, while at work, I am checking my bank account. There in my bank from a dispute with a health provider company back in Dec 05/Jan 06, I am finding about a little more than $100 in my bank account returned from the insurance company!! Wow! I certainly had given up on that.....
So...
overall....
it wasn't too bad of a day....
and keeps seeming to get a little better each place I look and turn!!
Maybe miracles can happen????? What do you think????
