this is a true story...
i first met my other half while hanging out at a friends house (Mick). he knew her from a chain of random people he met on a chat line. i had come over with a girl that liked Mick. so Heather calls him and they are talking when we show up.
Mick decided he wanted to throw my friend Jennifer around by her [back-side] and handed me the phone. and the magic happened. we hit it off and talked for a while. when we left Micks house we set a time and she called me back. we talked for like 6 hours. a month or 2 later we finally got to meet each other in person.
well, obviously it went very well...after all, i am ultra uber
so finally the time came when we decided to get married. we had been talking about it for a while and finally we decided to take the 1st step in making that happen and went and got our marrage license. as we walked out of the courthouse it hit me....why wait...i could already feel the phantom ball and chain around my ankle. might as well get this execution of signleness one with.
what followed was a blitz of action. i decided to get married the next week. now i love my wife...but it can some times take her an hour to change her mind...might be due to all the air that has to be replaced ...but i digress...the idea of only a week horrified her. i saved up my paycheck for the week and made my affairs ready to end my life on the next week.
i sent her on ahead to get prepared for the wedding and went to her mothers a couple days later. with some help from the family i managed to do the whole wedding: church, preacher, cake, reception, dress, huneymoon hotel room, ALL of it for like 3 or 4 hundred. i was rather happy once i had time to think about it.
the day of the wedding i show up at the church and find that they are in a frantic rush to get my wife ready as she only got her dress like an hour before. that got sorted out and we got hitched. we proceded to Fire Mountain Grill (fancy Ryans) for the reception. that was all good. We then went back to her moms for cake...it was like 900 degrees! the ac was broken...the only thing melting faster than the cake August heat was us!
so we finally manage to make it through that alright and we are off to our honeymoon! we left the room earlier that day and left the AC on high...as i said, it was hot. we had made sure to get a room that had pool access. we go out to the pool and the water is about the temp of bath water...and it seemed the bugs really liked it that way. i cleaned us an area out and we made due....we were determined to try to make this work and it did...until we got divebombed by a praying mantis....but other than that and the occasional bat we were fine.
the rest is marital bliss....i really am happy you know how i know im happy? she tells me so
