Duke Boomington's blog: "the good, the bad, the ugly"

so I have this fu friend (not a close one, i don't actually talk to her) who is posting pics that "describe her" things about the causes she supports. So i thought maybe i would blog a little about me.

well first off I am a TOTAL DORK ...... and I love it.  anything funny with a little wit is awesome to me. If it is popular i MIGHT like it, but not because it is popular, but because i actually took it on its own merit.

There are very little causes i believe in.  I don't go green with everything but i do believe in the balance of things that can be proven. I don't buy the carbon argument dur to a lack of evidence. nor do I believe in global warming.

Music is not my life in fact i rarely listen to it.

It saddens me to see so many support and help groups out there. my belief is that although there are a few people who truly cannot help themselves, the overwhelming of majority can help themselves but refuse to do so and make excuses as to why they cannot.  In fact almost anyone who is willing to help themselves...... already has a friend right there by their side.

I believe in helping myself and making myself into a better person, and I can think of no better way than to encourage my friends to help themselves, afterall, what can I do for them, if they won't even value themselves enough to change their own situation for the better.

I know there are a FEW exceptionsbut not nearly the amount of "helpless" people we saw around us on a daily basis.

I have few close friends that i trust but everyone gets a chance. I'll even hold onto those who have broken my trust, keeping them at arm's length.

Like your average geek , i love video games mostly the final fantasy series. but must like music, it does not define me.

I am not unique........ there are tons of guys like me.

I am not common........ I rarely go with the flow, for the sake of it. if I do it is merely to not make waves at the time, as I DO know when to use discretion.

that is all i have to say about myself for the time being.
