If you try looking for a friend who has no faults, you will have no friends. A friend is a person who has the same enemies as you have. As I have said many a times; Friendships multiply joy and divide grief's.
I believe there are three type of friends; Best friends, guest friends, and pest friends. You can look at it this way. We are all angels born with one wing, we can only fly by embracing one another. Make friends, not enemies. Your world will be a much nicer place.
When a friend is in trouble, don't annoy them by asking if there is anything you can do. Think up something and just do it. We all need old friends to help us grow old and new friends to help us stay young.
We all have relatives we don't seem to get along with to well. God gave us our relatives; thank God we can choose our friends. A loyal friend is worth ten thousand relatives.
We will all go through life in much the same manner. Most of us will all have several relationships throughout our lifetime. Some of us will be emotionally hurt and some will cause the emotional pain to another. Relationships are work. They require both of you working on the same team. One of my favorite lines in the movie "The Notebook," "We fight than we love." That is what love is all about. An emotion so great your easily angered, hurt, and sometimes very upset. That is love. Understand how to deal with it. You need to understand these strong emotions come with being truly in love. But sometimes that relationship just can't be saved. It might be time to move on. That is when you need your friends. Lovers, relationships will come and go throughout your life but true friends can last forever. We all need a shoulder to cry on sometime. Your true friend will be there for you when you need it when most will run from it.
