As requested, here are a couple more of my poems.
Poem
Just a few simple words
carefully arranged.
Set in stone for now,
but inevitably changed.
A pointless explanation
of personal insight,
a vain attempt to justify
what I already know is right.
Embellishing the commonplace
until it seems sublime,
or could it be nothing more
than just a dreadful waste of time.
Mercy
Left unable to refuse,
at the mercy of the muse.
At her beckon call I wait,
knowing that I can not sate.
Her hunger burns within me.
Unquenchable ecstasy.
Through the pleasure and the pain,
her servant I shall remain.
