A Chapter Closed

A chapter closed,
A chapter gone.
The pages filled,
The story done.
A happy ending?
Well, not this time.
The sad reality,
This story is mine.
The laughs and tears,
Still remain.
The fun and fear,
Gone again.
The ink is dry,
The paper crisp.
I no longer,
Can taste your lips.
The journey's over,
At least for now.
Maybe one day,
You'll come back somehow.
The tears still falling,
The last page open.
I sign the words I hate to say,
My heart for now, is very Broken.
