A female friend of mine has a birthday coming up.

A few weeks back in a joking manner I told her I would end her "dry spell" for her birthday. We're good friends and give each other a hard time and joke around. But I'm wondering if she took me seriously, because she brought it up this past week.

So here it is, do I follow through and end her "dry spell", or do I go out and get her a real gift and hope she isn't setting her heart on "me" as her gift?
