Good Morning more A & I chat after 4 were knocked off yesterday and a 9 year old Australian Girl can no longer play Tennis due to her…grunting….
Well, I agree when hearing grunters on tennis court’s it is a little distracting to say the least. Can they help themselves? I believe so. Apparently this little girl’s tennis Idol is Maria Sharapova and like her she grunts when ever she strikes a ball. So this 9-year-old Australian girl has been banned from playing tennis at her local club over the noise she makes while competing.
The Herald Sun of Melbourne, Australia, reported that Lauryn Edwards was told last weekend that she could no longer play after an opposing player complained about her grunting. Well, la tee dah! The big bad tennis club hushed the little girl…for now.
Ok on with the real stuff now American Idol is down to 16 contestants. 8 gals and 8 guys. Are they the best 16? Hmmmm I would say not, but there is very much talent left in the mix. Where should I start? Lets go on this weeks performances. The Guys out shinned the Gals 5 to 3 with 8 singers lucky America did not take away them as well. I believe you almost could count 6 to 3 male singers over female…but that is my opinion. This year I am going to dub this cast of singers as the whiners. Oh yeah, my gosh they cry over split milk all the time AND it’s not just the girls crying in most cases it’s the guys! I mean one dude…the flaming dude… Danny Ortega Taco.. I mean Noriega cries over everything he has to due a box of Kleenex a day… Oh , oh and I am about tired of the kid, oh you know who he is… They have already crowned him A/ I 2008 I mean yeah the kid can sing… But the Cowardly Lion Act is getting old… Everytime someone says something like awww you are so great, I keep waiting for him to grab his tail and munch on it like the cowardly lion did in the Wizard of Oz! ahhh huh.. ah huh huh.. awwwww ahuh.. ah huh his little lip puffs up and he gurgles a huh aaahh huh … like he can’t speak English, I tell you what he best Grow A pair pretty darn soon because he is about to be trust out into the public eye and making gazillions due to all the tiny boppers and old boppers too, racing to get his CD’S, mark my word this kid if he doesn’t chock on his lion tail will go far as Carrie Underwood…David Archuleta is his name, remember it you will hear it over and over again on the pop charts in the years to come. Another guy that is sound is that Michael Johns he had a good week, not great but the guys looks and charisma will carry him into the top ten no doubt, my favorite is still there and had a great week, another David, this one being David Hernandez and good for him, because last week he was not all that good. Chimpanzee did well too, I mean Chikezie, I can’t give you his last name, because… well hell, I am not sure he has one… He did well and bounced back off of a week I thought he should have gone home on. One more David did well that in David Cook, that guy is a stone cold rocker who will get a contract no doubt. Very good year for male vocalist, very good. Ok on the women… like I said 3 did themselves Justus by singing well and those three are safe, Starting Out with Brooke White she sang like Carly Simon and somewhat resembles her too, Good job for her, she sang you’re so vain and directed it towards Simon. Staying on Carly, that being Carly Smithson, this Irish bombshell will due awesome and has done a fabulous job fighting through the flu. She has to be the female to beat. I truly do like her. And the last of this weeks great jobs go to Kristy Lee Cook she did an awesome job for herself too, I just do not feel she has top five or six in her, but ya just never know. The rest can just say they have fans that kept them in, my favorite on the gals side was the rocker nurse… let me just start this out by saying she has sang three shades of terrible and the fourth coat no doubt will go on this coming week… color her gone next week, she is no where near as good as she looked in the preliminaries. One gal I am surprised that went home this week, I called the two guys, the dude with white stripe in his hair, Mandy said she just wants to jump up on stage and cut that piece of white streak out of his dark hair. The other dude, well Simon called it he just was not believable as a rocker. It showed this week… The one Black Gal Alexandria Lushington needed to go, she was just happy to be there and was way over matched. But, the gal I think they misjudged was Alaina Whitaker, she was surprised to be in the bottom three and I think the way Ryan Secrest announced who was going home misled her and then all of a sudden it was her that was going home, she was devastated and rightly so. Oh well, perhaps next week the women she puff out their chests and sing they way they were expected to. The Men, I think it is going to be rather tough to beat the guys in this years contest…one thing for sure, they will not vote through another disastrous male singer like they have done two times before, That in Ruben Studdard and Taylor Hicks those two, I could not even tell you if they still are in the singing business. Well enough on Idol Chat for one week, I once more have shoveling to do so customers can make it into our doors…my gosh someone left the snow machine button on… turn it off!
