You don't know me like that, do not speak to me as though you do.I hate about me sections, mainly because it's a waste of time as very few people take the time to read them and even fewer take the time to understand them. However, I'm bored so here it goes...I was born and raised in south Carolina. I have lived in pennsylvania and now live in my hometown of beaufort, but no matter where I may live, I am and always will be a carolina girl. I'm not really a big city kind of girl, but I'm not really a country girl either. I rather enjoy suburban life, where the quiet of the country and the amenities of the city are equally close at hand. I believe in treating people in the manner you yourself wish to be treated, but if that doesn't work, I believe you should treat someone no better than they treat you. I find a sense of humor, a quick wit and the ability to smile and laugh from the heart to be a person's most attractive qualities. I find pettiness, rudeness and unprovoked callousness to be a person's least attractive qualities. I tend to be quiet and introverted, but I can be loud and full of life in the right setting and among the right people. Getting to know me can be difficult or easy, it just depends on how closely you pay attention. I rarely ask for things I want or say what I'm feeling outright, but if you read between the lines it's often quite clear. I can be incredibly shy at times and other times incredibly bold. I am very opinionated, but often keep my opinions to myself or share them privately with a very, VERY select few. I like doing things for people, and though I don't do things for recognition, a simple "thank you" can make my day. I try to keep an open mind and an open heart, even though it has often led me to heartbreak. I am a fierce friend and the people I love, I love with all my heart and without boundaries or exceptions. I can and will go for long stretches without talking to these people, but my love for them is never lessened. I have had the great fortune to meet a few of my fu-friends in real life and there are a few more that I would love to meet. Here are just a few of the people who mean the most to me...
