I'm looking for someone who could really show this groovy car the love and affection it deserves.

I've had it about 6 years now. It's served me well, but alas, I've run into a situation that is insurmountable to me at the present time... Old faithful has blown an intake manifold gasket and is badly in need of a full tune up. (garage estimate $788 including all parts, fluids and labor) In addition to these problems, The front end will need some work including installation of a new light bracket fixture, lights and some body work.

In short, this is a good project car for someone who knows what they are doing and has the money to spend on it.

I love this car and would like nothing more than to find a way to fix it properly and keep it for myself. But as some of you know, we are expecting a new addition shortly, and with the two youngsters we already have in tow, something more practical is needed.

I paid 6 grand for it used. On the upside, It's had new tires all the way around in the past year, new front brakes and rotors, a new serpentine belt and a new water pump...all professionally installed.

I'm asking for an even grand but will accept the best reasonable offer I get. I would also consider an even trade for an older model minivan, station wagon or car with room enough for 5.
