Have you watch the movie, "The Elephant Man", where he says " I am not an animal, I am a human being". I am just a human being looking for a loving relationship with someone special to me. Sometimes I think and I say that to myself when I am dealing with some women on dating site, though am very new to this but i have meet some and sometimes, i feel that some people that I have met aren't very serious about finding that special individual. It seems they'd rather be stuck and go out of business and stay with the "same old, same old." in their lives. I am looking for someone willing to take a chance again, someone who can make decisions to fulfill their own destiny. I've been a widow for over 22yrs now, hard to believe right? yeah but where there is determination and focus anything is possible. I have only one kid, she is 24years and schooling in england. I am known as a very positive and creative guy and I have a good and honest job which I enjoy going to work five days a week. People tell me that I am humorous and a fun guy to be with, intelligent, proud of my use of common sense, well traveled on five continent with a lot of great stories to tell. I am told that I have a very creative and exploratory side to me and that I am honest and straight forward. I also like people who are straight forward and i really hate lies I have done many things in my life, explored many places around the world, never have been unemployed, love my kid, do not drink, and do not smoke. I have never have used drugs as I am quite high on life, I feel I have a lot of integrity and respect for other people and overall, a pretty happy guy and am looking for someone similarly happy and content with what life has given them. I can dance to just about any type of music but love Rock and Roll the best, (been to Medina and Mancini's recently) and the movie genre that I like the best is basically man or woman against the odds. My latest read is "The Secret Hour" and "Theodore Rex" by Edmund Morris. it is a biography of Theodore Roosevelt and a great read.Enough already, with what you think you want in life, I am looking for someone with a beautiful heart that knows "what" she wants in life, there is a big difference between the two. As with a lot of other people on dating sites, I am looking for "the one". I have discovered that this is not always the case with some of the individuals that I have met. It is easy to say, looking for that perfect partner but it is like looking for a great job, In both situations you're creating a profile of your past with intentions of creating that great future. When you are researching a prospective company or partner and you are putting your best foot forward in that first meeting, you are hoping, of course, that the match will turn into something fruitful for both parties for that great future together. we’ve lived the single life and found that, although it has its satisfactions, there’s a sense of incompleteness. Life is meant to be lived with a special person by your side. As the years go by I feel the absence of that person more acutely and I think you do too. It’s time to do something about it. Honesty should be the first in a relationship so im looking for an honest woman who enjoys the simple pleasures of home life like cooking a meal together, snuggling up to watch a movie, sitting on the front porch on a summer evening, or just keeping each other company while a snowstorm rages outside. A woman who’s intelligent, well informed, and who has a mature outlook on life but still loves to learn new things. On the subject of looks, I can say I am not concerned with them, but sometimes physical attraction is an important part of some relationship.
