I stole this from my friend Harley because I believe that these men and women who give their lives and sacrifice so much for me and my family that as many people as possible should know about the shameful way people who sleep peacefully in their comfortable air conditioned homes at night are allowed to do so because there are those who are sleeping in sand and extremely hot temps. Recently Marines in Iraq wrote to Starbucks because they wanted to let them know how much they liked their coffees and to request that they send some of it to the troops there. Not free mind you? Starbucks replied, telling the Marines thank you for their support of their business, but that Starbucks does not support the war, nor anyone in it, < BR>and that they would not send the troops their brand of coffee. So as not to offend Starbucks, maybe we should not support them by buying any of their products! As a war vet writing to fellow patriots, I feel we should get this out in the open. I know this war might not be very popular with some folks, but that doesn't mean we don't support the boys on the ground fighting street-to-street and house-to-house for what they and I believe is right. If you feel the same as I do then pass this along, or you can discard it and no one will never know. Thanks very much for your support. I know you'll all be there again when I deploy once more. I am truly sorry I haven't commented/shouted at you in a while. I was on vacation last week to get my daughter ready for school and spend some time with my family. I will be working even more hours in the upcoming weeks. I am hoping to clock as close to 60+ hrs a week as possible. please email me to communicate with me and I will get back with you. Please have patience since I will be rotating between working my normal nightly hours and working some day shift hours also. Naturally my waterbed will become my newest bestest friend. Today is a day to celebrate America's Freedom. Today I keep thinking of ALL the soldiers past/present/future who gave their lives and/or limbs so that this country can BE free and STAY free. So to ALL who has served/are serving/will serve in any branch of the Armed Forces,,,, Happy July 4th!!! I thank you for fighting for my family, past/present/future!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I WAS WATCHING THE NEWS LAST NIGHT AND THERE WAS A STORY ON ABOUT A 91 YEAR OLD WORLD WAR II VETERAN THAT WAS BEATEN IN CHICAGO. WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE TODAY? IS THE PHRASE "HOME TRAINING" THROWN OUT OF THE WINDOW?? THIS GENTLEMAN FOUGHT FOR HIS COUNTRY WHEN WE NEEDED HIM TO AND NOW THAT HE NEEDS US WHAT DOES HE GET? BEATEN IN THE STREETS BY A NO GOOD LOW DOWN SHIFTLESS PIECE OF SHYT CALLED A HUMAN BEING. NOW I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU BUT I WAS RAISED TO RESPECT MY ELDERS. MY GRANDFATHER WAS A VETERAN, I HAVE FRIENDS THAT ARE VETERANS, MY GRANDDAUGHTER'S FATHER DID HIS TIME IN IRAQ ALSO WHEN SHE WAS A BABY... THESE PEOPLE AND ALL MEN AND WOMEN WHO HAVE SERVED OUR COUNTRY SO THIS KIND OF TRASH CAN WALK THE STREETS FREELY PAY THEM BACK BY BRUTALLY BEATING A DEFENSELESS OLD MAN.
