This is national Autism awareness week and more than nine eights americans as well as the world is unaware of the disease,as well as the symptoms! Well It's my pleasure to educate you on this wide spreding epidemic.
Autism is a sickness that effects the brain of children when they are born and is often misdiagnosed as Attention Deficet or similure deaseses that effect the way a child developes. This outbreak really has been around for some time now. The sad part is that Doctors who specialise in nero-medicine are the only ones who can diagnose correctly and treat this monster! Other Doctors who generally practice internal or other specifics usally are'nt aware or even know the simple effects that uncover the prognosis.
Attacking and healing this sickness is both triing and expensive. Most insurances will not she any help to the parants to help with the costs. Therapists and general practioners alike are not throughly trained because of the realitive newness of the study. There is little known about this disease because Doctors are not sure of of it's origen as well as it's stem implanture genologicly speaking.
The symptoms are like a pendulim, in that they go from extream to extream.
Firstly there is the child who is withdrawn and unattenitive to what there surroundings are. They are the child who has normal hearing but when called out they don't show any reactions. These children come very late if at all to the "normal Benchmarks of ability" such as walking, speaking, and talking. This is considered LOW consentration.
Secondly, there is the child who is late in meeting the benchmarks but is focused on detailed and sometimes complicated items that their parents find difficult to understand. Given a problem to solve they become dazed and confused. Allowing them to find obsticals and reach resolve gives pleasure to the parent as well as confusion. Question here, Why do they not comprehend the task given to them directly? And why are they able to complete difficult tasks given through self accievement? This is considered MID consentration.
Thirdly, there is the child who is meeting benchmarks in life remarkably fast. Daily life for this child is remarkably "normal". Good in School as well as attentive to requests are common for this child. Now the Bad news, they show little emotions and non-intrests in the lives of others. They have poor social skills. Mostly they are little geniuses locked within their own worlds of wonder. They get genuinely upset when something doesn't go their way. They are'nt satisfied when they do not get the highest note or praise for their accomplishments. This is considered HIGH consentration.
All three show sighns of detatchment. Parents recieve the "gut feeling" something isn't correct. Don't be discouraged though as it's not your child or your falt! Ask to see a Nuerologist to get an exam for Autism.
