well it was an eventful night at the racetrack. got the new tranny in the car and made the hot laps with the car pushing. with a little driving correction we got it fixed for the heat race. it was a powder puff night and Khristina (my wife) ran her hot laps but forgot her seat cushion so she had a hard time seeing while she drove. she still had a blast since the last time we had a powder puff her knee was hurt and the time before that she was pregnant with our son. so she finally got behind the wheel and loved it.
during the heat race we started second row outside and stayed in about 4th for a lap. first lap there was a caution for a wreck and we had to restart. after the restart we stayed in 4th when a wreck in front of me almost took the front end of the car out. i got lucky to find a hole and made it thru. and then on lap 4 the car went CLICK CLICK BOOM. we checked the car out and the radiator emptied into the block so we are hoping for the best but expecting the motor to be trash. junk, a giant paper weight. dont think we will make it out any the rest of the season but we will have to see the extent of the damage
