9-11-02 One year ago today a nation temporarily lost its will, our country was in disbelief as time stood MORE then still. Like frames from a silent movie flashing across the TV screen, we watched the World Trade Towers buckle, then collapse, beam by twisted beam. There was terror etched in faces agony and desperation in their screams, many feeling dazed and confused wondering if it was a horrific dream. As the black smoke rose up ash and debris fell to the ground, none of us could have been prepared for the devastation still yet to be found. Thousands of INNOCENT lives their families knew their worth, they were mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers wrongly taken from this earth. This 1st anniversary of 9-11 is filled with a variety of emotions, we grieve for those who perished yet stand proud with a new found devotion. Our country DID NOT falter the American Spirit is alive and strong, and in memory of every fallen hero we’ve found the strength to carry on. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dedicated to all the people who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 NEVER FORGET!
