My parents were my idols. They have both passed away now. Both lost their lives to cancer. But they taught me that if you want something in life you work hard for it. Don't make excuses for why you can't do something, but give all the reasons for why you can and do it. Just because I was born a female doesn't mean I have to give up my dreams of being a firefighter...so I became one. It doesn't mean I can't be a doctor, so I strive to one day be one. But it doesn't mean I can't also be a lady , a homemaker or a woman that has yearnings as well. My parents taught me that..so how could I not idolize them. Forget moviestars, or people that teach me nothing my parents gave me life and the values and morals on how to live it.
