Im James and I live in Sulphur, OKLAHOMA. Im a widower. Im a young 56 years old and Im retired. I enjoy working on reducing weight to get in better shape and I walk every day, workout on the elliptical during the week too, and I do bodyweight exercises for strength training.
I like reading, listening to music, watching movies and excellent TV programming.
Im a former Viet-Nam war era veteran having served 10 years in the US Navy on 2 battleships. A sales person most of my career after the Navy and a business owner as well.
I enjoy hiking, camping and Im always looking for a fishing buddy. People dont love to fish like they once seemed to do.

Interests
When I was married before my wife died, I enjoyed going to the City, visiting the museum, the zoo, music events, going to the theater, dining out, picnicing and all kinds of things.
But that was quite a while ago. Naturally I was lost when she went to Heaven and for so long I was just uninterested in being with anyone ever again. But those sadder times are gone and Now, Im a vitalized man, and Id like to meet someone I could do those couple's things to do like I once did.

Music
Im going to generalize because that would make me do a lot of typing to name all of everyone. So, I say, I love most rock and roll, from classics to now. And I love country music. I like Christian music, oldies and the newer generation Christian too.
Some classical, jazz, blues, dancing music (disco), latin music, and some opera. Absolutely no rap.
Movies
Denzel Washington, Bruce Willis, Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Tom Hanks, Dwayne Johnson (The Rock), Sean Connery, This new 007 James Bond actor, Dennis or David Craig, Sean Penn, Samuel Jackson, Morgan Freeman, Julia Roberts, and I could just keep on typing (LOL)
I love action, drama, mystery, comedy, suspense, some horror, some kinds of documentaries.
Idols
They are not my idols but they may come close. Writers of best selling novels. John Grisham, Mark Twain, Michael Connelly, Robert Crais, Nicholas Sparks, Ann Rice, Sandra Brown, Robert Parker, James Patterson, the list goes on and on...
