The way that we will in the moonlight walk
get home from that and still stay up to talk
then make precious love until the new day
we make our love only grow stronger this way
still infatuated yet every day we love more
you are the one I so love, admire, and adore
Though life it seems tries to keep us apart
you are always safely here within my heart
while thoughts of you constantly in my head
I am honored you share my life, love and bed
the one thing I'm most thankful for it's true
is that you for some odd reason love me too

Tonight I had the pleaasure of watching an angel sleep
not just any angel' but the one that I so wish to keep
with such contented look upon her beautiful soft face
her slumber's smile filled with such charms and grace
As she lie there sleeping my heart swelled with pride
thinking how lucky I was to have her there by my side
How could a mortal ever attract such a wondrous prize
how could one find favor in such a lovely angel's eyes
I am sure that I could not say nor have I ever guessed
only know that with this angel I've been truly blessed
Sleep well dear angel and know how much I care for you
I've no need for sleep as you made my dreams come true
