My name is Alan Joicey. I am originally from Blyth, Northumberland (a genuine Geordie). I now live in Letchworth Garden City, Herefordshire and been here since 1980. My trade was motor fitter also bodywork repair and finish off paint spray.
I'm divorced and have two front up children whom I think the world of. I am 66,but my body and mind don't feel it! I still haven't got the hang of fubar yet but I'm sure it will come to me in time.
My nickname is 'geordie hopper I acquired this whilst in the royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore outer London. One of the others blokes changed my name details at the top of the bed time I was down in theatre,he also made an alias for my Conultant! We had some good fun when I was in that time! The hopper part comes from me having to 'hop' around as I didn't like using my crutches. I'd lost count of the op's I've had and I'm due for another onein September's/October this year as at the minute I am walking around with a fail (R)ankle fusion which basically means I'm waiting on a Broken ankle!, or so the medics say.
