I like the way you think. One time he went into a meeting and left his phone on his desk and it kept ringing and ringing. I finally took his phone and put in his filing cabinet under a couple reams of paper to stifle the sound. I sent him an e-mail telling him where it was.
I refer to all of that as"Bad Country" because as a musician I have to hope in that there has to be some"Good" Country somewhere...But as I said prove me wrong.
The whole"My woman left me and took my dog and my pickup." doesn't apply to me either but I know that is probably a very provincial opinion but prove me wrong.
After playing for years with other people, you need a break and do some stuff on your own. I guess what I play would be more in line with bands like Radiohead, Destroyer, Queens of the Stone Age but more acoustic work.
When I was in the band it was called Another Engine. Nothing too major either but it was alot of fun and it gave me the opportunity to play some places really important to me. I do alot of recording at home now kind of change my direction.
