I'm a computer nut....COMPLETELY ADDICTED!... I'll admit, and blogs seem to be the worst addicting. lol
I love all kinds of movies, and music...well almost. I dont' do rap, and I'm not into hip-hop...but give me classic rock, country, classical, opera, easy listening, pop, and some contemporary Christian, and I'll definately enjoy them all.
My favorite all time movie is The Ten Commandments, and my #1 all time favorite actor is Sean Connery...although, I have LOTS of favorites! Some of other favorites include, Richard Burton, Mel Gibson, Densel Washington, Charlton Heston, Omar Sherif, Peter O'Toole, Will Smith, Bruce Willis, Kevin Costner, Yul Brynner, Pierce Brosnan, John Wayne, Whoopie Goldberg, Tom Hanks, Kathern Hepburn, Audrey Hepburn, Robin Williams, Richard Harris.
We're big TV watchers in this house. I enjoy Walker Texas Ranger, Law & Order CI, CSI, House, Monk, Stargate, X-Files, Crossing Jordan, ER, Law & Order SVU, Star Trek(all) The Nanny, Today Show, Nash Bridges, & Mash.
My Dreams .... Sweden, Africa, Israel, Egypt, Scotland, Ireland, Austria, Hawaii, Australia, and Fiji, have always been in my traveling fantacies. Here at home, I'd love to spend more time in the Eastern, and N. Eastern states. I've never been that far. I love to visit Washington DC, visit the Memorials..Lincoln, Washington, Jefferson, The Wall and also the Holocost Museum, are somethings I'd really like to see. Closer to home, my dreams include several acres of land, with 2 additional houses, for both of our boys, and their families. A place they can always call home, long after I'm gone. Our own jewelry store.
My Dislikes... bigotry/prejudice, hypocrocy, asparagus, brusel sprouts, cooked spinich, cold weather, rudeness, lack of sensitivity in others and to others, people that judge others, liver, cleaning the kitchen, putting away laundry.
My Likes... the smell of the air after a rain, fresh brewed coffee and tea, the smell of a fresh mown lawn, the smell of bar-b-q' cooking in the summer, the aroma inside a florist shoppe, a cup of hot chocolate on a cold night, a hot relaxing bubble bath, looking at the stars, walking on the beach.

I AM 50% SWEDISH. BOTH MY GRANDPARENTS ON MY FATHER'S SIDE WERE BORN IN SWEDEN. MY FATHER IS FULL BLOOD. MY GREAT GRANDFATHER, PETTERSSON, IMMIGRATED TO THE UNITED STATES WITH HIS FAMILY. THEY SETTLED IN MINNESOTA. CHECK OUT THE LINKS BELOW.

OF COURSE, NOT SURE WHO TOLD MY GRANDPA THAT EITHER. BUT PERSONALLY, I NEVER MADE CONNECTION DIRECTLY TO WALES. ALL HEARSAY, SO FAR.

In addition to music, movies, and my computer, which are mentioned in my "About Me" section, I also enjoy gardening. I don't do a "garden" per say, other than tomatoes. There's NOTHING like fresh, home-grown tomatoes!!! I do have house plants though that I enjoy taking care of, and also plant flowers through out the spring and summer months.
I enjoy studing my bible, and especially enjoy the Old Testament, and the history of the Hebrew people. Online, I am owner of several Christian Yahoo groups, and members of others.

We so often hear of the tragedies that befall others, and even I, when hearing of such tragedies, would whisper a prayer..."there, but by the grace of God, go I." And then...one day, you find that you are the one faced with what you always prayed in your life, you'd never have to face. The ribbon campaigns below, are some of those tragedies, that I had always hoped would somehow pass me and my loved ones by. But, we realize throughoutlife, that these horros are NO REPECTOR OF PERSONS! The following ribbon campaigns are ones that have touched my family personally. Both my husband's Aunt, and Cousin, have been faced with the horros of breast cancer, and thank God, they are survivors, and fighters. We lost my precious Aunt Jo to colon cancer in 2001. Seven years ago, my husband and I heard the dreadred words...lymphoma, when he was diagnoised with Non-Hodgkins. My wonderful, and most loving Grandfather...my Poppy, suffered from Alzheimer's, leaving him totally dependant on others, which was always what he dreaded and feared most in his life, afraid of being a burden to those he loved. In 1986, my husband Lee was diagnoised with Juvinille Diabetes. All these diseases can destroy so many lives, and take those we love so deeply, from us, long before their time. I ask you to please, support these causes whenever possible. We so desperately need to find a cure!
The ribbons shown below, are also special causes that I feel very strongly about, although they have not touched my life personally, as the ones above have. But, none the less, they are ones we need to support and back whenever possible. I know I've heard some say..."but I can't afford to send money..." Well, I can't either, but for just a few $'s, even displaying a magnet on your car...or bumper sticker, makes the world aware of so many worthy causes, that for so long have gone un-noticed. For anyone suffering from these, I hope that they and their families will constantly be in your prayers. God Bless you all.
I do NOT like war...and wish we weren't at war. But, I believe, as is stated in Ecclesiastes 3, "To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven.... a time of war, and a time of peace."
I'll tell ya right up front....I voted for Bush! I'm sure that might send a few people in the opposite direction. lol But, I feel my job as an American citizen is to put in office the person I feel is best qualified to run my country. Not necessisarily what is best for me...but as an American, what is best for my country. JFK said it best..."Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country."
I am a patriotic American....you WILL NOT SEE ME DOGGIN' OUR MILITARY.....AND I WON'T ALLOW ANYONE ELSE TO EITHER. You will see praise for our military, and for the service they do, not only to our country, but the world.
